Help us move forward
The year 2022 made us feel whole again—though we can do more to achieve even greater impact. We’re looking to fill a few existing board roles as well as some new positions we developed.
Supporting the CADC in New Ways
The CADC has been doing a lot of work around the topic of membership and the value it brings to our community. We are still a grassroots organization, with room to grow and increase our overall impact.
2022 Service Award Winner – Edvin Yegir, (in Memoriam)
The 2022 CADC Service Award honors the legacy of Edvin Yegir. As a design professor, Edvin’s longstanding commitment to design excellence and dedication to bridging the gap between Connecticut’s professional and academic worlds – made him one of CADC’s most prominent advocates.
Club Notes Profile: Steve Habersang
In the inaugural version of our Club Notes newsletter, we asked Steve Habersang, Senior Art Director at Taylor Design, a few questions about his life and his career. You can check out Steve’s design work on his personal website, and his illustration on Instagram @habby_art.
45th Annual Awards Show Postponed Until 2021
Next year’s show is going to be huge! We don’t want all of your hard work from the past year to go unrecognized, so to make up for this mess, we’ll accept submissions from this year and next year. So, put those submission planning spreadsheets in a safe place because you’re gonna need them next Spring.
A New Era for the CADC
Our board has been working quietly for the last few years to try and figure out what the CADC means to our community. I’m excited to be writing this because it means we can finally share what we’ve been up to.
