Honoring Excellence in Connecticut
Once a year, we gather together for the Annual CADC Awards Show to celebrate the achievements of our colleagues from across the state. The evening is the creative community’s opportunity to honors excellence in eight main categories: advertising, environmental design, graphic design, illustration, online/interactive design, photography, student, and video.

The 28th Annual CADC Awards Show
From the beginning, the Annual Awards Show has been the cornerstone of the CADC. We love the friendly competition, but the purpose of the show has been and always will be always to celebrate and support all of the incredible creativity in our state. We hope you all had an amazing time at the show this year!
In addition to Excellence, Silver, and Gold awards, a small number of individuals receive some of our highest honors in recognition of their creative skills and community involvement.
Honors at the Awards
EMERGING EXCELLENCE
Introduced in 2019 and selected unanimously by the judges, this award shines a light on the potential of one especially talented student.
SPIRIT OF CREATIVITY
Introduced in 1993 and selected unanimously by the judges, this award recognizes innovation or excellence in concept or execution.
JUDGES’ AWARDS
Each judge selects one piece that they believe exemplifies excellence. There are no restrictions or prerequisites; they’re free to select whichever piece speaks to them.
BEST IN SHOW
As the highest award at the show, this is selected unanimously by the judges from a pool of pieces that have all received Gold awards.
HALL OF FAME
Established in 1995 and selected by the board, this award honors individuals and companies who have distinguished themselves in our community.
SERVICE AWARD
Implemented in 2015 and selected by the board, this award recognizes a board member’s long-standing service and commitment.
