Faride Mereb
Book designer, art director, researcher
Director, Letra Muerta INC
Faride Mereb is an award-winning Venezuelan book designer, art director and researcher currently based in New York City. Her Caribbean and Middle Eastern heritage and a profound love of books have deeply influenced her work, giving it a hybrid nature. She holds ongoing artistic collaborations in Latin America and Europe. Mereb won the 10×10 Women in Photo-books Research Grant in 2022 with her project on Karmele Leizaola, while also doing research for a year at Columbia University as a visiting scholar. She currently directs the design studio and archival research center Letra Muerta Inc.

Emily Gunn
Associate Designer, F. Schumacher & Co
Emily Gunn is an illustrator and surface designer based out of Brooklyn NY. She developed a love for pattern design and visual communication while studying at Syracuse University. Her goal is to create a clean and comprehensive image with a handmade feel that brings interest and excitement to interior and exterior spaces.

Dave Haller and Andrew Fatato
Meet Andrew Fatato and Dave Haller, a creative team with over a decade of experience making stuff for brands that people want to look at and remember. Dave got his start as an art director at ad agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Possible, R/GA, Arnold and Virtue. Andrew got his start as a copywriter at ad agencies like Digitas, Havas and Possible.
They’re best at ad campaigns, brand activations, stunts and content, but like doing anything that will help keep brands from being boring. They wrote a book on how to have great advertising ideas called, Handbook for Hacks. Andrew and Dave also teach classes on concepting, copywriting and art direction.
