The CADC holds an annual Student Conference and Scholarship Competition, open to all Connecticut undergrads, free of charge. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to hear real-life perspectives on creative careers from leading design professionals and to compete for scholarship awards.
The Conference is one of the many ways CADC stays true to its mission: “To promote the highest standards of excellence in the visual communications arena and to encourage communications professionals and students studying the field of communications an opportunity to share and be creative with one another.”
The Club offers three $500 scholarships to students enrolled in an accredited design, illustration, or photography program in the state of Connecticut. The scholarships are offered to students who demonstrate exceptional ability in their field of study. A completed application form and a portfolio of 5-10 samples of work are required for consideration. Portfolios are submitted and reviewed at the Conference.
