We’ve got the answers. To kick start the 2010–11 Connecticut Art Directors Club season we’re hosting an inspirational and entertaining night of sharing, focused on creatives who have incorporated the sale of personal work into their business model. We’ve lined up three presenters who will share insight on how they’ve used an idea and a little sweat equity to generate income in addition to the client work they produce.

You’ll also have the chance to take home a bagful of all the coolest things. By attending you’ll be able to peruse a fully stocked marketplace, where some of the finest products (made right here in CT) will be on sale. Come down to check out the latest T-shirts, posters, various printed materials, handmade items and original works of art. Make sure you bring a few checks or a handful of cash, no credit cards accepted!

Do a little learning, support small businesses and local vendors, and meet a bunch of folks who create things they care deeply about.

Presenters:
Greg Chinn Owner / Creative Director of Jargon Boy, creator “M is for Modern” Flash Cards
Chris Piascik Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator, Founder of Print Brigade
Design is Love Funding creative work through a community of support
