CADC believes that inspiration is integral to our work. Twice a year we host INSPIRE ME events, inviting creative superstars to come share their passion with us, from visual problemsolving for clients to art for arts’ sake. Past speakers include Alexander Isley, Happy Dog, and Armin Vit.

In keeping with our mission to promote the highest standards of excellence in the visual communications arena, CADC hosts an ANNUAL AWARDS SHOW, known throughout the region as Connecticut’s most prestigious design competition and showcases. The event, which draws more than 1,000 entries each year, honors the best of the best in Connecticut creative. CADC members receive substantial discounts on entry and admission fees. CADC also promotes design excellence by supporting the next generation of designers. Our STUDENT CONFERENCE AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM annually offers students a packed day of seminars, career guidance, and portfolio reviews to foster the advancement of the next generation of design professionals. The culmination of the conference is the scholarship awards, presented to students with exceptional portfolios of work.
