			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Web Solutions, an interactive agency centrally located in Meriden, Connecticut, is actively seeking a full-time Graphic Designer / Junior Level.  This position will be responsible for the development, production and delivery of web graphics/HTML/CSS, web content layout and client-requested updates under the direction of the art director, designers and account managers. As a support member of the creative team, and working with the technology department, the Designer will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Work well as a team member and understand how our technology and processes operate </li>
<li>Have the opportunity to work on website layouts </li>
<li>Convert designs into HTML</li>
<li>Test websites in multiple web browsers on Mac and PC, generate punch lists and fix issues where applicable </li>
<li>Implement content layouts through a content management system </li>
<li>Complete client site updates, including design and HTML/CSS content management </li>
<li>Benefit from creative mentoring and skill-building from the art director, designers and account managers </li>
<li>Have a strong personal drive to continue learning best practices/protocols and share knowledge </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Understanding of the fundamentals of web design </li>
<li>Working knowledge and good skill level in basic web programming (i.e., HTML, CSS </li>
<li>Strong skill level in programs required for the discipline (i.e., Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) </li>
<li>Applied knowledge of web typography and color systems </li>
<li>Understanding of web-related issues across multiple browsers (i.e., IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) </li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li>

You can follow a client’s set brand standards and graphic style. You’re able to work well in a team structure, articulate any solutions you come up with, and meet deadlines set by the account service department. And hopefully you like New Haven pizza.</p>
<p>We are Mascola Group, a small agency in New Haven with an overflow of projects coming through our Creative Department. And we’d love to see how you work and what you’re able to do.</p>
<p><strong>Position Requirements &#038; Qualifications</strong></p>

<li>Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree or similar.</li>
<li>2-3 years of professional experience.</li>

<p>We are seeking another smart, professional, creative and talented designer to join our growing team. This is a full-time salaried position.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will work closely as part of our team to create a variety of projects. The role will vary from project to project and day to day. The person weąre looking for should be able to work independently, execute someone elseąs vision as well as their own.   Also key is the ability to work with clients directly and manage project budgets and deadlines as well as handle every aspect of a project ­ from initial rough concepts, to making quick edits, print production experience, contributing your own unique vision on projects, and everything in-between.</p>
