We're looking for a talented and self motivated developer to work at our twelve person design studio located in Stamford, CT. Projects include websites, e-demo's, apps, e-mail campaigns and all things digital for Fortune 500 companies and top colleges.
As an ideal candidate, you are:
  • A graduate with a four year degree in computer/digital development
  • An expert using HTML and CSS
  • An expert in relevant Adobe programs (Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
  • Very knowledgable of web design and design techniques
  • Able to utilize and implement jQuery plugins
  • Able to code standards-based web pages that validate
  • Able to translate custom designs into a PHP based content management system (WordPress preferred)
  • Able to manage your own projects and stick to a schedule
  • Able to analyze complex assignments and think critically on the fly
  • Motivated to keep learning the latest techniques and best practices
  • Confident to express your ideas and meet face-to-face with clients
Ideally you also have a working knowledge of:
  • PHP, MySQL
  • Custom jQuery
  • HTML 5, CSS3
  • Responsive website programming
  • Flash and Actionscript
  • Advanced web design

Elements, a full-service graphic design + marketing communications firm located in Branford, CT seeks a full-time Graphic Designer to start immediately. We work hard, have fun and handle a daily mix of projects including: annual reports, identity, direct response, POP displays, advertising, promotions, brand strategy, packaging, public relations, exhibits, publications, and web design. The perfect candidate will be passionate about all things design and/or marketing ­ and will be ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in with both feet wherever assistance is needed. The successful candidate will work closely as part of our team to create a variety of projects. The role will vary from project to project and day to day.   • Superior written, verbal and interpersonal skills a must
  • Proficiency in all Macintosh design programs required
  • Generate multiple and distinct design concepts and to self-edit
  • Provide constructive creative feedback to other designers
  • Receive constructive creative feedback from other designers
  • Present personal work and the work of others in a well-articulated, professional manner
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a group
  • Experience preparing projects to print
  • Organized, thorough and with experience solving complex problems
  • Experience with web, electronic media, and PowerPoint design is a must
