You, the Senior Designer
Your book is so good, we can't put it down. Your print and web design is award-winning, not that you care about that. You've executed web content, but also love to kick it old school with paper samples and press checks. You're so remarkably at home with the requisite software, you'd live in an Adobe if it weren't for these harsh New England winters. You'll stay all night if that's what it takes to make that pocket folder the best goddamn pocket folder we've ever seen. You have at least a few years of agency experience. But your work looks like you've been doing this stuff for decades. You've got designs we've never seen before, not to mention designs on rising up to art director.
You, the Art Director
You're a lot like the Sr. Designer above. But you also crave the limelight, commanding the boardroom and presenting your ideas with flair and passion. You're highly conceptual. Your designs are stellar, but it's your media agnostic ideas that really blow us away. You've said to yourself while on a TV shoot, "Man, I could direct this thing!" You're not afraid to write a headline once in a while. You come into work with a smile and a sketch on the back of a piece of junk mail, capturing an idea you jotted down last night as you were falling asleep.
