Marketing Research Assistant – New Haven, CT

Our firm is looking for a Marketing Research Assistant for a temporary, part-time position. Responsibilities will include doing online research to find specific target markets, phone calls and data entry of information and data, and phone calls to confirm details. You must have experience with using social media as well as with Microsoft Word and Excel. We are looking for someone self-motivated, detail-oriented team player, with an outstanding work ethic and ability to report organized details to the management team. Knowledge of marketing is helpful. Your task will be to compile a detailed and extensive list of contacts in specified target markets. If you are a team player, organized, accurate, enthusiastic, and have top-notch communication skills, this temporary position is for you. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree (preferably English, Marketing, or Research related) • Good research skills • Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc) • Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet/database experience • Experience with Internet navigation and social media utilization • Energetic, upbeat attitude with great phone skills and follow-through • Ability to prioritize and follow through on commitments • Work to deadlines, prepare status and identify potential roadblocks and bring them to the team for discussion • Ability to prepare Excel or Word Doc with detailed contact list in organized fashion We are a small, dynamic creative agency located in downtown New Haven, with a great work space and a fun team.
