Out of the Box hits Hartford County on Thursday, February 3 — at Lucky Lou's Bar and Grill in Old Wethersfield — from 6:00 to 9:00. If you're looking for a casual hangout where you can share Happy Hour with your fellow creatives this event is perfect for you. Nothing complicated, absolutely fun. Absolutely free. January 19th: Holiday Hangover

'Tis the Season for celebrating with friends (and getting rid of gifts that made you say "WTF").

The holidays are upon us and your calendar is most likely filled with celebration after celebration. With so many parties going on, it's really difficult to squeeze everything in and let's face it, the ugly sweater party is so last year. That's why this year we're switching it up. Join us on Wednesday, January 19th at Anna Liffey's in New Haven to start the New Year off with a little food & drink and also have a chance to swap some of those lousy gifts you may have gotten from Aunt Bethany. Even if you loved all of your gifts, bring a little something that can be swapped and join in on the fun. It doesn't matter if you've been naughty or nice, what matters is that you come out and have a good time with Connecticut 's creatives. This event is open to members, non-members, students and anyone who is interested in sharing the spirit of creativity (and holiday cheer). Everyone is welcome! The evening will begin at 6:30pm and as always, this will be a great opportunity to meet fellow creatives, as well as enjoy some beverages & snacks.
