Celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving with Connecticut's creatives as we design holiday cards with messages of gratitude, encouragement, and hope for American service members, their families, and veterans all over the world. Our efforts will support the
American Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes charity drive.
Tables will be set up at the Wood-n-Tap restaurant in Rocky Hill for card-making, with Mohawk paper and envelopes, specialty papers, markers, pencils, pens, stamps, scissors and glue. Participants can either make cards or for those that do not wish to construct cards, they may bring their old holiday cards to sign and send. All cards will be collected and sent to the Red Cross headquarters in Washington DC.
This event is open to members, non-members and students and anyone who is interested in sharing the spirit of creativity. Everyone is welcome! The evening will begin at 6:30pm and as always, this will be a great opportunity to meet fellow creatives, enjoy some beverages & snacks. Please
